BLIND SEER started as a duet in September 2013. Asthar (guitar) and Wan (vocals) teamed together to give birth to a new metal genre. The name BLIND SEER was chosen as a reference to Led Zeppelin (two opposites forming an interesting concept). Through the months, the band completed its lineup with a bassplayer (Full) and a drummer (J-Mo).
The band started writing actively, about 40 songs are put together in the timelapse of two years. The metal music also includes indus, prog, jazz influences with melodic vocals. The band also uses less common instuments like vintage synths and theremin or the tesla coil as an amplifier device (which makes them one of the very few band to play with electric arcs on stage as musical instrument).
Thematics are various, often based on social phenomenons and transposed in dystopic settings.
BLIND SEER selfproduced a first EP 'Astounding Revelations', mixed et mastered by Brett Caldas Lima (Ayreon, Devin Townsend, Cynic, ...) published in September 2015. This first EP was spotted by german label MASSACRE Records who decided to sign them for an international distribution.
The first LP, 'Apocalypse 2.0' hits the shelves on July 21st 2017 featuring 12 tracks, also mixed and mastered by Brett Caldas Lima. A video 'Secrets Untold' shot by director, actor and photographer Gael Maleux is released simultaneously.
